O Lumencraft é uma combinação única de um jogo de tiro de cima para baixo e de construção de base com elementos de defesa de torre. Entre em níveis gerados processualmente com um ambiente totalmente destrutível para construir sua base, cavar alguns túneis e encontrar o precioso Lumen - a única chance de sobrevivência da humanidade. Durante dois séculos, os remanescentes da humanidade lutaram para sobreviver sem eletricidade e luz. Mas há uma centelha de esperança. Em 2221, os sobreviventes encontram o Lumen, um cristal de alta potência energética que pode ser a última chance para a humanidade. Escoteiros, mineiros corajosos, estabeleceram um assentamento subterrâneo e viajaram na escuridão para alcançar os depósitos de Lumen próximos.
