THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2: Remake é um remake da segunda entrada da famosa e popular série de rail-shooter. Assuma o papel de um agente secreto sozinho como James ou Gary, ou junte-se no modo cooperativo para neutralizar os perigosos monstros mortos-vivos em seu caminho. Em fevereiro de 2000, uma pequena cidade foi de repente tomada por criaturas hostis. Dois agentes da AMS, James Taylor e Gary Stewart, foram enviados para investigar. Ao chegarem, notaram que a situação lembrava o incidente da Mansão Curien em 1998. Determinados a descobrir a origem da infestação, começaram a abrir caminho a tiros através de hordas de criaturas.
