Un juego de rol de escuadrones con libertad total de movimiento. El enfoque está en la jugabilidad tipo sandbox con finales abiertos, no en una historia lineal. Comercia, roba, lidera rebeliones, dirige ejércitos, vive aventuras, hazte granjero, termina como esclavo o incluso en la mesa de caníbales. Investiga nuevo equipamiento y fabrica tus propias armas y armaduras. Compra y mejora tus propios edificios, que pueden servirte como refugio fortificado si las cosas se complican, o úsalos para iniciar tu propio negocio. Ayuda o enfréntate a distintas facciones del mundo, buscando poder y riqueza para sobrevivir en un desierto implacable. Entrena a tu grupo: convierte a víctimas débiles en guerreros expertos. Rescata a tus compañeros heridos del campo de batalla para que todos regresen vivos a casa.
