Estado de Decadencia 2 es un juego de supervivencia y fantasía de mundo abierto que se desarrolla justo después del apocalipsis zombi. Tu pequeña comunidad de sobrevivientes busca reconstruir un rincón de la civilización, y tú tomas todas las decisiones sobre cómo sucede eso. Tú decides a quién reclutar para tu equipo, dónde establecer tu comunidad, cómo fortificar y mejorar tu base, y cuándo es el momento de mudarse a pastos más verdes. Tú seleccionas qué sobreviviente llevar en una incursión de búsqueda de alimentos y munición que necesitas, y a quién usar para repeler a los zombis que atacan tu base. Tú eliges cómo lidiar con otras personas que se mudan a tu pueblo. ¿Serás amigable y acogedor... o defenderás agresivamente tu territorio?
