Salt 2 is an open-world pirate adventure focused on exploration, crafting, survival, and RPG progression. You wake up stranded on an island and must gather resources to build a raft and venture out to sea. Travel the world solo or with up to five friends. Your ship becomes a mobile home base as you explore in any direction you choose. Discover islands filled with handcrafted caves, ruins, pirate forts, and other mysterious locations. Follow the main storyline to uncover the world’s secrets, or join guilds and build your reputation. Craft powerful weapons and armor, hunt and fish to survive, level up your character to unlock unique skills and gear talents, and decorate your ship to truly make it your home on the water. What makes Salt different from other pirate games? Salt 2 is designed around a PVE experience, letting you play entirely solo or cooperatively. The game can be as calm or as adventurous as you like. You never need to worry about losing progress due to attacks from other players. The gameplay centers on solo and co-op exploration, not naval combat, focusing instead on quests, ship customization, and discovering unique locations. Your ship functions as a true base at sea, with more than 100 decorations you can place anywhere. The world is procedurally generated, allowing you to sail endlessly in any direction.
