Step into the shoes of Takeshi, a samurai sworn to defend his village from a terrifying Oni bent on domination with an army of undead. Inspired by Japanese legends, you’ll clash with menacing tengu, vengeful spirits, and the fearsome Jorogumo, all brought to life in an eye-catching stop-motion art style that nails a dark, cinematic vibe.
Venture through a world steeped in myth, from shattered villages and shadowy mountain caves to haunted graveyards and eerie forests. Each area is packed with detail and echoes the strange beauty of Japanese folklore. You’ll face off against a wild variety of yokai, nightmarish creatures, and supernatural enemies, their movements animated in that classic Ray Harryhausen-inspired fashion.
Switch between three playable heroes: Takeshi, whose sword skills cut through the undead; Kodama, a bold spirit who brings clever platforming to the fight; and Chisai, a quick-footed warrior cat with her own unique style. Master legendary weapons like the razor-sharp katana, deadly yari spear, and classic bow to push back the demonic tide and save your home.
