About This Game
Universe Sandbox puts the power of the cosmos at your fingertips. This space simulation for PC lets you play with gravity, collision, and climate in real time, all with realistic physics—no supercomputer needed. Launch planets into each other and watch massive, fiery impacts. Build your own solar systems from scratch: start with a star, add planets, then spice things up with moons, rings, comets, or even a rogue black hole.
Experiment with planetary climates—see ice caps grow and melt as the seasons shift, or tip a planet’s axis and watch its weather transform. Move a planet closer to its sun and witness oceans evaporate under blazing heat. Trigger a star’s supernova just by dialing up its mass or setting up spectacular stellar collisions.
You can also replay famous events in space history. Ride along with legendary probes like Juno or New Horizons, or catch a solar eclipse unfolding from any vantage point.
