About This Game
Inspired by first-person action hits like DOOM, Quake and Duke Nukem, this game takes you into a brutal cyberpunk world with a striking visual style. You will become Johnny Turbo, a crazy cyborg pumped up with modern technology, who has a rocket launcher hidden in his hand and a retractable chain saw hidden in his leg. In Turbo Overkill, the aesthetics of which "Blade Runner" meets the hellish frenzy of DOOM, Johnny returns to his hometown of Paradise, where the minds of all people have been conquered by the rebellious AI Sin, who also managed to put together an army of augmented minions. Johnny takes on the job of destroying the AI, although not at all from noble motives - the hero needs a lot of money to atone for the sins of the past and return his life to normal.
However, our hero is not the only one so smart here, so get ready to fight off competitors. The action in Turbo Overkill promises a whirlwind of possibilities - running on walls, lightning-fast dashes, using a grappling hook and a special skill called “hero time”. The latter allows time to slow down around Johnny to gracefully slice up enemies with the chainsaw in his leg. The hero will also have plenty of arguments to convince his enemies that he is right - two large-caliber Mangums, a powerful shotgun with an integrated grenade launcher, a sniper rifle and much more. The developers promise two dozen levels, bonus areas and combat puzzles.
