About This Game

Step into the boots of an elite CIA operative with GROUND BRANCH, a hardcore tactical shooter that throws you into covert missions worldwide. As part of the Special Activities Center’s Special Operations Group, you’ll coordinate with other top-tier units to take on secret operations that demand precision and teamwork. Inspired by the classic tactical realism games from the late ‘90s and early 2000s, GROUND BRANCH is built for players who crave authentic strategy and no-nonsense gameplay.

Powered by Unreal Engine 4, this game doesn’t just claim to be tactical—it lives it. The True First-Person System keeps you fully grounded in your character’s body; what you see on screen matches exactly what happens in the world. Be careful when moving behind cover—if your foot or weapon sticks out, enemies can spot and target you for real. Every shot counts, as bullets leave your weapon exactly where your muzzle points. Whether you’re peeking corners or clearing tight spaces, attention to detail is everything. In GROUND BRANCH, what you see is truly what you get.

The game is fun but the PvP scene is basically dead around 2026, especially in Australia. It can struggle a bit with scopes if your PC isn’t very powerful. It feels like a more detailed version of Operator, but if you want deep gun customization, Operator might be the better pick. Overall, a decent experience but keep the community and performance in mind.
