Whether you're diving into a campaign or enjoying a sandbox experience, you'll be tasked with establishing multiple towns, each perched on a distinct mountain with its own unique characteristics. These towns thrive in harmony, forming a trading network that you can tweak to suit your needs by revisiting and refining your established settlements. The Kingdom of Laysara needs a revival! Each mountain presents a fresh set of challenges, with varying shapes, vegetation zones, resources, and weather conditions. Sometimes you'll find expansive green lowlands perfect for farming, while other times you'll depend on breeding livestock and mining precious minerals near perilous glacier peaks. In desperate need of a specific resource? Establish a trading route with another town to get what you need. One of the constant threats you'll face is the formidable avalanche. While you can't stop them, you can certainly prepare. Plant forests to create natural barriers, construct artificial ones to redirect the snow's path, or even trigger an avalanche early while it's still manageable. Craft a strategic and dependable approach, and you might harness the power of snow to your benefit. Fail, however, and watch your city get buried and destroyed!
