About This Game
The Chernobyl Exclusion Zone has undergone a dramatic transformation following the second massive explosion in 2006. This perilous landscape, teeming with violent mutants, deadly anomalies, and warring factions, poses an immense survival challenge. Yet, it's the allure of priceless artifacts that draws many brave souls, known as S.T.A.L.K.E.R.s, into the Zone. They enter at their own risk, driven by the promise of fortune or the quest to discover the truth hidden within the heart of Chernobyl. Step into the shoes of a lone stalker and traverse a photorealistic, seamless open world, spanning a 64-square-kilometer radioactive zone. Experience a variety of environments that vividly portray a post-apocalyptic atmosphere from multiple perspectives. Navigate your journey through the Zone, shaping your destiny as you choose your path in a highly branching, epic narrative. Meet members of various factions, and decide who is worthy of your friendship and who deserves a bullet. Engage in intense firefights with a diverse array of enemies, each employing different tactics to challenge your wits. Select your preferred firearms from over 30 types of weapons, each offering numerous modifications to create hundreds of unique and lethal combinations. Prepare to face horrifying mutated creatures, each with distinct behavior patterns. Mutants can appear in different subtypes, making their actions unpredictable. Regions with mutant lairs present extreme danger, as numerous creatures hunt in large groups. The Zone's most valuable artifacts and secrets lie hidden in its most treacherous corners.
