With this game, we aim to shed light on the events in Ukraine at the onset of this war. Initially, it was expected to conclude in mere days, but it transformed into a long and grueling conflict. While Ukraine's story has been told through reports and documentaries, we offer a different perspective through the lens of a game. Don’t be misled by the term game—this is no documentary, yet it earnestly depicts the early days of the war. From the striking Russian airborne assault near Kiev to the point where a draft peace agreement seemed within reach in Istanbul in March 2022, this game captures it all. It is a real-time strategy game that emphasizes realism. Vehicles don't have conventional health bars—damage is calculated module by module, taking into account armor protection and the power of incoming fire. Each module's functionality is impacted by damage. The advanced cover system significantly boosts infantry survivability, adding tactical depth to flanking maneuvers. Soldiers' physical and moral conditions are simulated, affecting their battlefield behavior and combat effectiveness. Troops must be periodically withdrawn for resupply and rest. The game features realistic war logistics—equipment and ammunition need replenishment, and units cut off from supply lines face the threat of annihilation. A sophisticated physics-based destruction system affects buildings and objects, impacting mission tactics, especially in urban warfare.
