About This Game

An extraterrestrial probe has been detected heading toward Earth. Unbeknownst to humanity, an alien force has arrived in the distant, icy reaches of the Kuiper Belt and started mining a dwarf planet in preparation for an invasion. As Earth’s nations struggle to unite against this new threat, transnational groups of political, military, and scientific leaders secretly join forces to coordinate a response. With the aliens’ true intentions still a mystery, new factions emerge—each driven by hope, fear, or ambition. Strange anomalies, mysterious crash sites, and a rise in unexplained disappearances raise the question—could this really be our first contact with extraterrestrial life? As your agents follow up on reports and your scientists push the boundaries of research, you will gradually uncover the truth behind the alien arrival. From the first UFO sightings and crash sites to encounters with massive alien creatures and robotic armies, it will soon become clear that the other six human factions are just the beginning of your competition. Throughout the campaign, illustrated events will challenge you with tough decisions as alien activity on Earth intensifies. Piece together the aliens’ origins and their true motives—unless you represent Humanity First, where nothing matters more than complete extermination. Terra Invicta features a global research system that opens up opportunities for both fierce competition and strategic cooperation. Scientific breakthroughs can unlock unique engineering projects for your faction. You can choose to prioritize your own secret projects, but doing so may weaken Earth’s defenses as a whole and allow rival factions to shape the direction of global research. If left unchecked, factions like the Servants or the Initiative might lead the world down the path of social control, instead of focusing on propulsion or weapon systems.
